The Creative Conscience Awards is a not-for-profit awards scheme, which encourages students from different creative disciplines across the globe to use their talents to make a difference. The theme is centered around using creativity to make a positive change to a particular moral, ethical or worthwhile cause. Applicants had to decide upon how best to use creativity to promote positive change to a particular moral, ethical or worthwhile cause of their choice. For this project I developed a brand for a fictional on-profit charity to promote a food drive for those in need. Billboard ad designs, a collection bin and a t-shirt design were created.

Healthy oceans are the life support system for our planet, providing 97 percent of the Earth’s livable habitat and a home to more than 700,000 species. The oceans are vital to human health as well, providing jobs, enjoyment and food to billions of people. Not to mention half of the oxygen we breathe is generated by our oceans. OCEA is a fictional non-profit ocean preservation organization created solely for this project. The assignment was to raise awareness for any cause we felt close to. I chose revolve my ad designs around ocean wildlife preservation. We were asked to design a series of ads and promotional materials for our cause.

Bullies Out

Bullying is a worldwide problem among school children as young as six years old. While children who bully others generally do not understand the impact of what they are doing, bullying has a well documented and very serious negative impact in both the short term and the long term on targeted children. The objective in this class project was to create a public awareness campaign. I created a logo for a fictitious non-profit company, a consistent ad campaign and a few promotional materials to raise awareness on bullying.
